Overflow Support & White-Label Engineering for MSPs

Every MSP eventually hits a ticket or a project that doesn't fit the team on hand — a CMMC assessment nobody's done before, a ransomware call at 11pm, a backlog that's three engineers deep. Ghosxt works behind other managed service providers as a peer, not a competitor: your brand, your client relationship, our engineering. DoD-cleared, quiet, and priced for a partner, not a customer.

Peer-priced, white-label, no client poaching — built by a DoD-cleared engineer.

We're built to be a backend, not a rival

Most MSPs are small — a handful of engineers covering everything from password resets to network design. That works until it doesn't: a client's contract requires CMMC and nobody on the team has done a real gap assessment, a ransomware incident lands on a Friday night, or the ticket queue is three engineers deep because someone's on vacation. The usual options are turning down the work, learning it live on a client's dime, or losing the account to whoever can say yes.

Ghosxt fills that gap as a subcontracted engineer, not a competing MSP. We don't run ads targeting your clients, we don't have a sales team calling your book of business, and we don't want the relationship — we want to be the senior engineer you call when a project needs one.

What partners hand off to us

Some partners send standing overflow volume. Others only call for a specific project. Both are a fit — there's no minimum commitment to start.

Ticket Overflow & After-Hours

Standing or occasional overflow when your queue is backed up, a key engineer is out, or you need real after-hours and weekend coverage without staffing for it.

CMMC & NIST 800-171 Readiness

Gap assessments, CUI enclave design, SSP/POA&M authoring, and SPRS scoring for a client contract that needs it — done by an engineer who's operated these controls, not learned them from a binder. See our CMMC compliance page.

Cybersecurity Assessments & Response

DoD-cleared endpoint, identity, and email-security assessments for client environments that need real rigor, plus ransomware and incident response with a senior engineer on the call — not a hand-off to a vendor queue.

Complex Network Design

Multi-site, identity-first architecture, OT/IT segmentation, and ITAR or CUI enclave design for projects that would otherwise be guesswork for a generalist team.

Engineering & CAD Environments

SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault, and BIM-vault architecture and remediation for clients in manufacturing, engineering, or architecture — see the detail on our engineering IT page.

White-Label Delivery

Tickets, documentation, and client communication can go out under your brand end to end. We're the engineering behind the curtain, not a name your client needs to be introduced to.

Have a project that needs a second engineer?

Send us the details — a CMMC deadline, a ransomware incident, a backlog you can't staff for. We'll tell you plainly whether it's a fit and what a peer-priced engagement would look like, no obligation.

How the partnership actually works

1. Scope the work

A short call or email thread on what you need — a one-off project, or standing overflow volume — and whether it needs to be white-label.

2. Peer-priced quote

Wholesale ticket rates or a project quote, priced for a partner relationship, not retail.

3. Quiet delivery

We work under your brand where it matters, document everything, and keep you looped in — no surprise client contact.

4. Standing relationship, if it fits

Partners who send recurring volume typically move to a simple standing agreement once the working relationship is proven — never a precondition to start.

MSP Partner FAQs

Will you poach our clients?
No. We work behind your brand, not around it. We don't market to your clients, we don't take direct calls from them without you in the loop, and we don't compete for the relationship. Peer MSPs are how we'd rather build the business than by out-marketing local shops.
How is pricing structured for MSP partners?
Peer-priced, not retail — wholesale rates for overflow ticket work, and project or hourly rates for specialized engagements like CMMC prep or an engineering escalation. We'll quote a specific arrangement once we understand the volume and type of work you want to hand off.
Do you only take overflow tickets, or also specialized project work?
Both, and you can use us for one without committing to the other. Some partners send us after-hours and overflow tickets on a standing basis. Others only call when a specific project — a CMMC assessment, a ransomware response, a network redesign — needs a senior engineer they don't have on staff.
Can you work white-label under our brand?
Yes. Tickets, documentation, and client-facing communication can go out under your name. Your client relationship stays yours end to end — we're the engineering behind the curtain, not a vendor they need to be introduced to.
What kind of engagements are a good fit to hand off to Ghosxt?
CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171 readiness your team hasn't done before, a cybersecurity assessment that needs a DoD-cleared engineer's sign-off, ransomware or incident response that needs a senior engineer in the chair immediately, complex network design (multi-site, OT segmentation, ITAR enclaves), and plain ticket overflow when your team is underwater or short-staffed.
Do you require a minimum commitment or long-term contract?
No standing contract is required to start. Send a single project or a batch of overflow tickets and see how it goes. Partners who send recurring volume typically move to a simple standing agreement once the working relationship is proven out, but that's a conversation for after we've actually worked together, not a precondition.
Where are you located, and do you only work with California MSPs?
We're based on California's Central Coast. On-site engineering escalation is realistic for MSPs in the Monterey Bay, Salinas Valley, and South Bay area; remote overflow support, cybersecurity assessments, and CMMC/compliance work are available to MSP partners anywhere in the U.S.
