Tiny Team onboarding

$1,000 one-time

For tiny teams (1 to 4 users) on the Tiny Team Managed Security plan. Covers documenting your environment, deploying agents, configuring MFA, Microsoft 365 hardening, identity setup, and getting your team trained. Charged once at the start of the engagement, then your $600 monthly rate begins.

Per-user tier onboarding

$1,500 – $4,000 one-time

  • 5 to 15 users: $1,500 on the Microsoft 365 default scope
  • 15 to 30 users: $2,500
  • 30 to 50 users: $4,000
  • 50+ users: Custom quote

Covers environment audit, agent deployment, identity hardening, migration work where needed, security baseline setup, and team training. Charged once at the start of the engagement. Pricing above applies to the Microsoft 365 default onboarding scope. Google Workspace and Apple fleet onboarding are scoped and quoted separately.

Is there a minimum number of users?
Yes. The per-user tiers (Core Managed IT, Secure Growth, and Compliance & Continuity) start at 5 users on a 12-month agreement. If you have 1 to 4 users, the Tiny Team Managed Security plan covers you at a flat $600/month, so you still get real managed IT and security without per-seat math.
Are backups included in the price?
Yes, on Secure Growth and Compliance & Continuity. Both include cloud backup for your Microsoft 365 and OneDrive data (the email and files your business actually runs on) at no extra charge, and Compliance & Continuity adds extended, compliance-grade retention. The only backup billed separately is full server / image-based backup (BCDR), because its cost scales with your hardware and data volume.
Do I have to sign a long contract, and can I cancel?
Our standard agreement is 12 months at the listed price, which locks your rate with no increases during the initial term. Early cancellation during the term costs 50% of the remaining months. After the first 12 months you can cancel anytime with 30 days written notice and no fee. Want zero term commitment from day one? Month-to-month is available at +15%. You own your data and we export it on request.
What does onboarding cost?
Onboarding is a one-time fee. It's $1,000 for the Tiny Team plan. For the per-user tiers it's based on size: $1,500 for 5–15 users, $2,500 for 15–30 users, $4,000 for 30–50 users, and a custom quote above 50. Those per-user prices are for the Microsoft 365 default onboarding scope; Google Workspace and Apple fleet onboarding are scoped and quoted separately. It covers environment audit, agent deployment, identity and MFA hardening, Microsoft 365 hardening, any needed migration, and team training.
What's the difference between the three tiers?
Core Managed IT ($125/user/mo) keeps devices patched, monitored, supported, and stable with MFA and security fundamentals built in. Secure Growth ($175/user/mo) is the recommended default and adds advanced email filtering, dark web and DNS filtering, password management, and Microsoft 365 & OneDrive cloud backup. Compliance & Continuity ($250/user/mo) adds managed detection and response with a 24/7 SOC, vCIO and QBRs, compliance support, compliance-grade backup retention, and a priority escalation queue.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Your monthly cost is the per-user tier price plus any infrastructure add-ons you choose (servers, firewalls, switches, access points, NAS, and MDM are all listed with their prices), plus a one-time onboarding fee at the start. There are no surprise monthly charges and no price increases during your initial term.
How much can I save versus hiring IT in-house?
